New Delhi, October 30, 2006: Visesh Infotecnics Ltd., a public listed company and one of the leading providers of reliable and cost-effective IT products & solutions to organizations globally today announced impressive results for its Second Quarter, ending September 30, 2006. As compared to the corresponding quarter last year, the company has increased net revenues by 49% (year on year) to INR 274.02 million whereas, net profits have jumped by 53% (year on year) to INR 40.6 million. Its revenues for the quarter were up by 11.01% over the previous quarter while net earnings were up by 33.87% over last quarter's earnings of INR 30.33 million.
Commenting on the results, CEO & Managing Director of Visesh Infotecnics said, "This quarter's results have begun to reflect the viability of our recent BPO diversification. We had commenced our Knowledge Process Outsourcing services from our Gurgaon Contact Centre in the previous quarter, and have focused on process optimization until now. We now understand the business model and have our infrastructure and key people firmly in place at V Connect, our KPO/BPO Division and will now ramp up capacities at our Second Contact Center which will provide a further boost to our revenues and profitability, going forward."
It may be recalled that Visesh Infotecnics had also been appointed the exclusive partner for the Asia Pacific Region by Image Analyser Ltd. of UK, for its pathbreaking Anti-Pornography technology, during this quarter. This technology has wide applications, as it analyses digital images during real time transmission to block off offensive visual content on devices like computers, hand-held devices, mobile phones, i-pods etc. and can also be extended to internet services for enterprise & home users, MMS transmission over mobile phone networks and digital transmission for television. Visesh would also provide global technical support for Image Analyser through its Contact Centers at India.
