New Delhi: 17, March, 2006: Visesh Infotecnics Limited, a public listed company and one of the leading providers of cost effective IT Products and Solutions to organizations globally, has commenced Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) operations for EcoStar Communications Corporation, a US-based Fortune 500 Company.
The KPO operations were bagged by the recently registered US Company “Cyberworks Visesh LLC”, a joint venture company of Visesh Infotecnics Ltd.
Visesh Infotecnics Ltd (India) and Cyberworks Software Inc (USA) had announced the merger of their Business Process Outsourcing Divisions and have registered the joint venture company in Oregon State (USA) in March, 2006.
Cyberworks Software Inc. (CSI) headquartered in Cleveland USA, a high-end IT contract consulting services Company catering to the specialized needs of several Fortune 1000 companies in America, had announced that the two Companies have agreed to work together, through a new Joint Venture Company established in USA, as “Cyberworks Visesh LLC”, owned 50% each by Cyberworks & Visesh. This new entity, combines the ISO certified infrastructure and management of Delhi-based, Visesh Infotecnics Ltd, one of India's fastest growing publicly traded technology companies with the resources of Cyberworks Software Inc, a US based corporation and leading edge 21 year old technology company.
EcoStar, headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, is a public company (NASDAQ : DISH) with revenue in excess of US$7 billion. It has 24 year history and approximately 20,000 employees and is widely recognized in the communications industry for its research and development activities. The Company delivers direct broadcast satellite (DBS) television products and services through its Dishnetwork, to its customers worldwide.

The KPO operations of Visesh Infotecnics Ltd. commenced last week from Gurgaon, under its new business division for outsourcing, “V-Connect”. Keeping in view the initial success of its marketing efforts, the Company is planning a fast ramp-up of operations, which could touch over 2000 seats capacity by March 2007. The Company has plans to expand its presence in the KPO/BPO space through acquisitions and strategic alliances with other key players in India and overseas. Such plans revolve around expanding on its infrastructure management capabilities in the BPO space, wherein its in-house division “InfraServe” has established credentials and it is already carrying an in-house developed, tested and acclaimed GPS/GIS/GPRS product “TransXS”, for Corporate Personnel Movement that is designed to meet the specific needs of BPOs. The Company aims at positioning itself as a premium KPO by addressing new business opportunities that require a high level of technical skills, with higher payouts & consequently high margins.
The Company has come out with impressive performance for the Third Quarter ending 31 st December 2005. Visesh Infotecnics' net revenue during Q3 was up 147.3% YOY to Rs. 201.44 million whereas net profits jumped by a huge 696.71% YOY to Rs. 34.05 million. The beginning of KPO operations is expected to provide a further boost to its revenue and profitability.
